Affiniti Trio
Berkshire Snow Productions is pleased to announce a concert by Irish trio, Affiniti. This Christmas concert will also feature Howard Crosby, nephew of Bing Crosby. This all an all ages show and brings Affiniti to Portland’s historic Aladdin Theater for the first time. Tickets are available at the Aladdin box office and online at TicketFly.com

Affiniti is a powerhouse female trio made up of vocalist Emer Barry (Soprano), Aisling Ennis (Harp) and Mary McCague (Violin). All three are classically trained and masters of their instruments but it is their genuine musical affinity with each other and their desire to perform together that makes them special. Their music is unique: Classical and Rock mixed with Celtic blood and tradition.

Emer, Mary and Aisling hail from different counties of Ireland and have performed as solo and orchestral musicians throughout Europe, America and Asia with artists including Kanye West, Josh Ritter, Michael Buble, Rod Stewart and Sinead O’Connor. They have been backed by the FILMharmonic Orchestra of Prague for their charity single “O Holy Night,” which reached Number #1 in the Irish download charts over Christmas 2014.

Affiniti has performed across America in Texas, New York, Chicago, Boston, Portland, Walla Walla, and Spokane. Kevin Cullen, of the Boston Globe, wrote "Affinití...full of soul and sass and sophistication as well as exquisite technique...” Classical Crossover.co.uk awarded Affiniti Best Group and Standout Newcomer awards in 2012 following the release of their debut EP, Rebirth, and noted: “they have an outstanding ear for converting pop into a fresh classically inspired sound.”
